This accreditation will request information on the following core criteria:

  • Has a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment and that key recommendations have been undertaken.
  • Evidence that fire alarm system and detectors are operating and being maintained as required.
  • Evidence provided that suitable and sufficient fire fighting equipment is available and maintained.
  • Evidence that emergency lighting is in place and maintained.
  • Evidence that the service operator has a H&S policy in place.
  • Evidence that the service operator has relevant safety risk assessments in place.
  • Evidence that buildings electrical installation certificate is in date
  • Evidence that gas appliances are certified
  • Evidence that lifts have required examination certificates
  • Evidence asbestos register is available where applicable.
  • Evidence of Legionella risk assessment has been completed

Note – The review will assess all of the listed criteria and score each item relevant to the buildings/guest safety. The building will need to achieve a score of 80% to gain accreditation.
